Вплив гальмівних колодок на утворення дефектів поверхні кочення коліс залізничного транспорту і рейок

Розглянуто результати досліджень причин, механізму і наслідків утворення дефектів на поверхні кочення коліс залізничного рухомого складу і залізничних рейок під впливом гальмівних колодок. Акцентовано увагу, що в Україні під назвою «композиційні гальмівні колодки» застосовують колодки із композиційної (композитної) гумосуміші на основі гуми (каучуку). Показано, що гальмівні колодки із композиційної гумосуміші більшою мірою сприяють утворенню дефектів на поверхні кочення коліс залізничного транспорту, ніж чавунні колодки. Основною причиною зазначеного є порівняно низька теплопровідність гумосуміші композиційних колодок. Оснащення колодок із гумосуміші чавунними вставками або чавунним каркасом кардинально не позбавляє їх від небезпечного недоліку, а саме недостатнього відводу тепла із зони контакту колодки з поверхнею кочення колеса і від утворення дефектів на цій поверхні. Дефекти на поверхні коліс призводить до необхідності їх вартісного ремонту, переточування і передчасного виходу з експлуатації. Розглянуто перетворення мікроструктури поверхневого шару коліс у місцях дефектів, утворених під впливом циклічно змінної високої температури, яка виникає у зоні контакту колодки з колесом при гальмуванні рухомих засобів. Акцентовано увагу, що дефектні утворення на поверхні коліс, контактуючи із залізничними рейками, пошкоджують їх поверхню. Все зазначене призводить до зниження ефективності техніко-економічної діяльності залізниці загалом. Рекомендовано при визначенні доцільності застосування на залізниці гальмівних композиційних колодок, виготовлених із гумосуміші, враховувати також негативний ефект щодо утворення дефектів не тільки на поверхні кочення коліс рухомих засобів, а й на поверхні залізничних рейок, як пари «колодка–колесо» і «колесо–рейка».
